The Board of Directors of Alteams Oy has appointed Mr Arto Lehtinen, MSc (Foundry Technology), as the new CEO of the company. Arto will take up this position on April 1, 2024.
Arto Lehtinen has over 20 years of strong senior management experience in the foundry and engineering sectors, combined with international management experience, e.g. in China. He has most recently worked for Wärtsilä Corporation in Cologne, Germany.
Mr Arno Pelkonen, Alteams Chairman of the Board, comments: “Arto Lehtinen is an excellent choice as CEO, who will provide solid leadership for further development of Alteams. Arto’s vast knowledge and experience will strengthen the company’s strategic transformation process in building competitive capacity and capabilities to serve current and new international customer segments, especially those related to clean technology transition”.

Mr Asko Nevala, the current CEO of Alteams until March 31, will retire on June 30 of this year and until then he will support Arto Lehtinen, the new CEO.
