CEO Asko Nevala’s blog: Automated production cell for Poland and new alloy alternatives in development

The weather was exceptionally warm in Finland this summer and I am pleased to say that the same “heat” has been on in our European operations, too.

Factories in Finland have been making new production records and in Poland, we have seen a very positive trend in new projects. To boost this development, we have further strengthened our Industrial Applications sales resources, as well as local factory resources.

The overall outlook for the remainder of 2018 looks encouraging, with various new customers that show real interest in us and our proven technical competencies.

We will continue to invest in key resources to enhance our capabilities to support our customers. As an example, at our Poland factory, we are currently building up an automated production cell for a dedicated product group. Similarly, in our R&D, we are constantly working on in developing even better alloy alternatives for high demands.

As you might have noticed, we have recently released a new version of the Alteams website. Our aim was to make them clearer and simpler, with a focus on informing our customers and other interested parties of our wide range of services and competencies. We warmly welcome your feedback via the web pages or through your Alteams contacts.
